Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need any tools or a machine?
No. The serum is a single-step, hand-applied product. Just wipe it on with the applicator and buff off with a microfibre cloth. No buffer, polisher or power tools required. If you can wash a car you can apply GlossRescue.
Where is GlossRescue from?
GlossRescue is owned and operated by a 100% Aussie team. We are proud to have been designed in Australia.
How long does it last?
A single coat protects and holds its gloss for up to 24 months under normal driving conditions.
Are your customers satisfied?
Our reviews speak for themselves, place your order and become one of our satisfied customers!
How much does one bottle cover?
One bottle restores up to a full vehicle. For larger SUVs or heavily oxidised paint, the 2 bottle bundle gives you extra coverage and a backup for touch-ups.
Can I damage my paint with it?
No, when used as directed, this product will not damage your paint.
If the product is under-applied or not cured properly, the most common outcome is uneven appearance (streaks and haze) or reduced results, not permanent damage. In most cases, the product can simply be reapplied correctly or polished off by a local detailer.
We always recommend testing on a small, inconspicuous area first if you’re unsure.- Refer to instructions for the best results
How long after application can I drive with it?
We recommend allowing the product to cure for 48 hours before driving the vehicle.
During this time, keep the surface dry and avoid washing or exposing it to rain and moisture. This allows the coating to fully bond and achieve the best result.
If the vehicle is driven sooner, it can effect the final result, refer to instruction for best results.
How does this compare to a respray
A professional respray typically costs thousands, requires downtime, and permanently alters the vehicle.
GlossRescue restores the appearance of faded clear coat for $129, with:
- No sanding
- No repainting
- No tools
- No workshop time
While it is not a structural paint replacement, it delivers a dramatic visual improvement that makes faded panels look deep, darker, and rescued. Results do vary with age and condition of the paint.
Will it work on faded or oxidised paint?
Yes, that is exactly what it is built for. The nano-polymer formula re-saturates dull, sun-faded clear coat and fills micro-scratches to bring back a deep, glossy finish. However results depend on severity of paint damage. It can not replace clear coat fully.
What are the prep steps required?
Simply just wash and dry your car, then apply GlossRescue. For more indepth details head to our 'Application Guide' page.
LEAVE A REVIEW!
My hood and roof were badly oxidised and dull. GlossRescue didn't make the car brand new, but it brought back a deep gloss I honestly didn't expect from a wipe-on. Huge improvement for the price.

The product works well and made my hood look much better. Only taking off one star because delivery took a little longer than I expected.

My 2008 sedan had chalky paint on the trunk and roof. One bottle made the colour look darker and much more even. It is a cosmetic restoration, but a very good one.
My faded green bonnet looked almost grey. After one coat it is deep and glossy again. Dead easy to use, no machines needed.
Worked great on the lightly faded/oxidised areas, but it just was kind of average on the peeling areas. I mean it does say it is not for peeling clear coat but regardless, it was worth a shot.
Was quoted thousands for a respray. Tried this first and my roof looks close to new. Saved me a fortune.
Worked really well on my lightly oxidised doors. The deeper panels needed a second pass, but the result is excellent for the money.
